Bazyliszek is one of those old, iconic places on the map of Warsaw. It is located in Rynek Starego Miasta 1/3 and has been running there for more than 25 years. In the diverse menu selection everyone will find something special, for little hunger or for big hunger. The true hit and bestselling classic of the restaurant is duck roasted in oranges, served with beetroots, crispy potatoes and cabbage. What would you like to eat? The legend of Bazyliszek (Basilisk)

The legend tells that the royal lizard with a white spot, resembling a crown, lived in the basement of a ruined building at street Curves Circle, near the Market Square in Warsaw. The basilisk was so terrifying monster that everyone who looked him in the eye, died instantly. Over the years Basilisk changed his attitude - today attracts and delights the crowds in both Warsaw residents and tourists from around the world.
